The Tucson Spanish and Flamenco Festival is presented by Casa Vicente Restuarant and Club España with collaboration assistance from Flamenco del Pueblo Viejo.

Club España

Club España de Tucson
is a non-profit, 501c3 organization dedicated to perserving and presenting the art and culture of Spain here in the Old Pueblo.  The "Club España de Tucson" began in the early 1970's, when a group of Spaniards started to represent Spain in events and festivities of the Tucson community. Officially, "Club España de Tucson" was founded in 1980 and was registered with "The Arizona Corporation Commission" as a non-profit organization. Today "Club España de Tucson" offers Tucson resident’s cultural associated activities of Spain every month of the year.  Club President, Sr. Don Vicente Sanchez-Martinez, is proud to co-present the 1st Tucson Spanish and Flamenco Festival!

Flamenco del Pueblo Viejo


Flamenco del Pueblo Viejo is directed by flamenco artisits Mele and Jason Martinez.  Both directors are exceptionally trained dancers, musicians, and flamenco instructors.  Flamenco del Pueblo Viejo was founded in Tucson in 2006 and currently offers classes in flamenco dance, song, and music at Casa Vicente. The couple, along with students and collaborating artists, also presents flamenco performances for the Tucson community and beyond.  Flamenco del Pueblo Viejo is proud to assist in the organization of the
1st Tucson Spanish and Flamenco Festival.
